Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 22, 1970.

The ivy (Hedera helix) leaves have been used for a long time as the village symbol to brand wood. They thus refer to the importance of forestry for the municipality. The horn refers to the former Jagdberg Estate, to which the village belonged.
