Escudo de verde, ponte de um arco de prata, lavrada de negro, movente dos flancos e de um pé ondado de prata e azul de três tiras; em chefe, cruz da Ordem de Malta entre duas vieiras de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ CUSTÓIAS – MATOSINHOS “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 27, 2003 and before on February 19, 1997. The previous arms (see below) only differ in the crown.
