CRONENBERG

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Kusel
Verbandsgemeinde : Lauterecken

Wappen von Cronenberg (Pfalz)

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 13, 1980.

The arms show a crosier for Verdun church, which had many possessions in the area. The colours are derived from the arms of the Counts of Veldenz, who ruled the region for a long period of time. The crown (Krone) and mountain (Berg) are canting elements.
