COVASNA

District/county (județ) : Covasna

Stema Covasna

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 21, 2010.

The tree symbolizes the forest richness of the area, and the undulating terrace, the natural setting in which the town is located. The sun and crescent are traditional heraldic symbols.

The mineral water spring refers to the specifics of the locality as a spa resort.

The arched waves of the spring refer to the muddy volcano in the center of the city, a monument of nature, called the Devil's Pond.

The mural crown with 3 crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
