Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on October 4, 2006.

The red field and golden bend are derived from the arms of the Lords of Oiselay, who aso owned the village of Cordonnet. The seven linden leaves refer to the seven parts of the municipality, the linden also playes an important role in the local history.
