Arms : Per fesse vert and gules, on a fesse wavy argent between in chief a sun in splendour and in base two stalks of millet leaved in saltire Or, a fesse wavy azure.
Crest: On a wreath argent and gules, A felling axe, the blade out­ wards, and a sheaf of paddy Or connected by two lark's heads [=strands of rope] and a true lovers' knot azure.
Supporters: On either side a sea lion proper, the dexter holding a torch Or inflamed also proper, and the sinister holding a cornucopia, the horn gold and the fruit also proper.
