Escudo de vermelho, uma espada de prata, montante, entre dois leões de ouro, rompantes e afrontados. Em ponta, um ondado de prata e azul. Coroa mural de três torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: " CHANCELARIA ".

The arms were officially granted on November 25, 1994.
