D'argent à la croix alésée de gueules, cantonnée de quatre rencontres de bœuf de sable.

Origin/meaning

The cross refers to the Priory of ST. John, which had many possessions in the village. The four cattle heads refer to the cattle markets held in the village on April 10, May 6, June 29, August 6 and October 29th. The right to hold these fairs were granted to the village by King Louis XIV.
