Escudo de Cervià de Ter

Official blazon

Escut caironat d'angles rectes: de gules, una cérvola d'or. Per timbre una corona de comte.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 9, 1991.

Canting arms: they show a gold hind (in Catalan "cérvola") on gules. Ramon de Xetmar i de Meca, the landlord of Cervià, became count in 1707 (because of that the arms have a count crown).
