Region : Catalonia
Province : Girona

Escudo de Cervià de Ter/Arms of Cervià de Ter
Official blazon
Catalan Escut caironat d'angles rectes: de gules, una cérvola d'or. Per timbre una corona de comte.
English de Ter No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 9, 1991.

Canting arms: they show a gold hind (in Catalan "cérvola") on gules. Ramon de Xetmar i de Meca, the landlord of Cervià, became count in 1707 (because of that the arms have a count crown).
