Escut caironat: d'or, un castell obert de sinople acompanyat de 2 cases obertes de porpra, una a cada costat i d'un sarment o cep de vinya pampolat de sinople i fruitat de porpra a la punta. Per timbre una corona de marquès.
Origin/meaning
The arms have been officially granted on 12th May 1983.
The arms show the chief town, symbolized by the local castle (12th century), now in ruins, that was the centre of a barony and later, in 1798, a marquisat (this is shown by the marquis crown at the top of the arms). At both sides of the castle, the houses represent the other two villages in the municipality: Bosquerós and La Vall. The grapes at the base are an allusion to the main crop of the village.
