Official blazon

Escudo cortado. Primero, de plata, un telar de gules. Segundo, de azur, dos montes, surmontados de pico y mazo en aspa, todo de plata. Al timbre corona real de España.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.

The upper half symbolises the importance of the textile industry for the development of the village. The base symbolise sthe former rock mining in the area, as well as the fact that Cantabrana is situated in a valley.
