Escudo de azul, monte de penhascos de prata, realçado de negro, movente de um pé ondado de verde e prata de três tiras, a do meio carregada de dois atuns de negro; em chefe, coroa mariana de ouro, entre duas estrelas de sete pontas do mesmo. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «CANIÇAL - MACHICO».
