CANADIAN FORCES BASE BAGOTVILLE, CANADA

Coat of arms (crest) of the Canadian Forces Base Bagotville, Canada

Official blazon

Two Montagnais Indian ceremonial war clubs in saltire / Deux massues rituelles de guerre des Indiens Montagnais en sautoir.

Origin/meaning

The clubs suggest defence and associate the base with the surrounding locality. The Motto which translates as "Defend the Saguenay" supports this idea.
