Region : Catalonia
Province : Girona

Camos.jpg

Official blazon

Escut caironat: d'atzur, una creu de Sant Vicenç abscissa d'or; el peu d'or, 4 pals de gules. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 12, 1984.

The arms of the village have the cross of St. Vincent, the local patron saint, and the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four gules pales on gold), because Camós was the centre of a royal council.
