Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ CALHETA DE NESQUIM “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 2, 2003.
The arms show a sperm whale in the ocean, indicating the former importance of whaling for the parish. The hoes or plough irons indicate agriculture, the (local) dog means vigilance.
