Uun scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, scartelat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp roșu, se află un stejar de aur. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un zid de cetate crenelat format din patru rânduri de cărămidă, de argint. În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află un brâu undat de argint. În partea inferioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un cap de berbec de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 12, 2018.
The oak represents the richness of the deciduous forests in the locality. The crenellated wall refers to the Roman camp "Samum" from Cășeiu, declared a historical monument.
The wavy belt represents the Someș river. The ram symbolizes the specific occupation of the area, raising animals.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
