Département : Seine-et-Marne

Blason de Bussières (Seine-et-Marne)/Arms (crest) of Bussières (Seine-et-Marne)
Official blazon
French De gueules à la larme d'argent surmontée de deux coquilles d'or.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show a tear drop, the symbol for St. Medardus, the local patron saint. The silver colour refers to the historical gypsum mines in the municipality. The scallops and the red colour are taken from the arms of the Séricourt family, former lords of the village.
