Official blazon

In Rot über grünem Schildfuß auf gewelltem, blauem Balken stehend eine silberne Burg mit Treppengiebel über dem offenen Tor, beiderseits je ein silberner Zinnenturm mit blauem Spitzdach.

Origin/meaning

Burgebrach received town rights in 1472 and the arms were granted on January 16, 1480.

The arms show a canting castle standing beside a river. The arms have not changed since.
