In zilver drie leeuwenkoppen afgerukt van keel, getongd en gekroond van lazuur, het schild getopt met een helm van zilver, getralied, gehalsband en omboord van goud, gevoerd en gehecht van keel, gekroond met een kroon van drie fleurons, met dekkleeden van zilver en van keel. Helmteeken: een leeuwenkop van het schild tusschen twee struisveeren van zilver. Het schild gehouden door twee griffioenen van goud houdend elk een banniermet het wapen van het schild.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 20, 1932.

The arms are identical to the arms of the Van Varick family (see also Varik in the Netherlands), who were Lords of Buizingen for more than two centuries. The local council used in the early 18^th century a seal with the arms of the family. The council applied in 1931 to be allowed to use those arms as arms for the village.
