Official blason:

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted in 1951.

The wall in the base symbolises the rapid development of the city in the mid 20th century. The upper half shows two crossed horse-heads, a typical symbol used on the roofs of farms in the area. The beech branch is a canting element (Buche=beech).
