English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 22, 1952.

The arms show a canting bridge (Brücke) and millstone (Mühle=mill). The goat's horn in the upper part as well as the colours of the shield are derived from the arms of the Lords of Holenstein. The Lords of Holenstein founded the church in Kirchdorf in the early 15th century, and played a major role in the local history for several centuries.
