Official blazon
French D'azur à trois bouquets de trois épis de blé d'or liés en forme de fleurs de lis.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on January 15, 1815.

The arms refer to the rich agriculture around the city. The wheat ears are placed in a similar was as the fleur-de-lys in the Royal French arms, indicating the loyalty of the city to the throne.
