BOUSBACH

Département : Moselle

Blason de Bousbach
Official blazon
French D’argent au lion de sable, armé et lampassé de gueules, à la fasce ondée d’azur brochant sur le tout.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on March 28, 1960.

The lion is the arms of the Counts of Forbach, who owned the village for a long time. The wavy bar is a canting element (Bach=stream, river).
