District (Kreis) : Oberallgäu

Wappen von Bolsterlang/Arms (crest) of Bolsterlang
Official blazon
German

In von Blau und Rot gespaltenem Schild eine silberne Glocke, die mit einem von Rot und Gold gerauteten Schildchen belegt ist.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 25, 1966.

The red and blue division is derived from the arms of the former Lords of Mühlegg. The bell dates from 1580 and is part of the St. Mary Magdalen chapel in the village. The small arms show the arms of the former Counts of Königsegg-Rothenfels, who had many possessions in the municipality.
