BISSEN

Bissen.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 26, 1982.

The arms are derived from the arms of the medieval Lords of Bissen, who used red bars instead of black bars. The colours were changed to distinguish the arms of the family from the arms of the municipality.
