Official blazon

Van goud met drie jachthoorns van keel beslagem met zilver - het schild getopt met een kroon met negen parels.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 29, 1953.

The arms are based on the 17th century seal of the village. The arms are those of the Van Horn(e) family, at the time Lords of Beveren, Stavele and Krombeke. The family owned the estate of Beveren for a long time until 1715, when it was sold to Frans van Nieuwland. As there were no other arms or seals known, the council adopted the Van Horn(e) arms in 1953. See also Horn.
