Federal subject : Krasnodar Krai

Arms of/Герб Belorechensky Rayon

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 18, 2006.

The arms show the canting White River (Belaya=white) in the district. The horse head is a reference to the Cossacks who settled the area in 1861-1862. The horse also refers to the Scythes and other peoples who settled the area over 2000 years ago, to whom the horse was very important. Finally, the horse was important for many centuries in this agricultural region.
