Wappen von Behla/Arms (crest) of Behla
Official blazon
German In geteiltem Schild oben in Gold ein wachsender roter Adler, unten von Schwarz und Gold geteilt.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were proposed by the State Archives in 1897 and adopted in 1898.

The area was a possession of the Lords of Schellenberg, who sold it as part of the Hüfingen estate to the Counts of Fürstenberg in 1620. The arms show in the upper half a demi-eagle taken from the arms of the Counts of Fürstenberg and in the lower half the arms of the Lords of Schellenberg.
