Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in June 2003.

The upper part shows the Mont Aigoual, th elowe rhalf the alluvial plains (gold) and the rivers Tarnon and Gardon. The sun symbolizes the meteorological station on Mont Aigoual.
