Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on January 28, 2006.

Th eupper part shows the arms of the Champagne and the Franche-Comté regions, as the village historically belonged to Champagne and currently to the France-Comté. The Templar Cross in the base refers to the fact that the village was for a long time the possession of the Kinghts of the Templar.

The wavy bar is the Amance river.
