Wapen: Deursnede: I, in groen 'n erts stamper van goud; II, in goud, drie naasmekaar geplaaste Barbertonse madeliefies gestingel en geblaar van natuurlike kleur.
Helmteken: 'n Aansiende rooibokkop en -hals van natuurlike kleur.
Wrong en Dekklede: Goud en groen.
Wapenspreuk: CONSILIO ET LABORE

Arms: Per fess Or, and Vert, in chief a stamp battery Or, and in base three Barberton daisies in fess slipped and leaved proper.
Crest: An impala head affronte couped at the neck proper.
Wreath and mantling: Or and Vert.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 29, 1969.

The arms allude to Barberton being a gold-mining town (the oldest in South Africa). The chief depicts a 19th-century gold-crushing mill, and the base displays three Barberton daisies, which are named after the town (they also appear in the Mpumalanga provincial arms).Literature:
