Origin/meaning

The wavy bend symbolises the Thérain river. The cross refers to the Order of the Templars, which had some possessions in the municipality. The mill iron in the lower half symbolises the water mills in the Thérain river. The small shield shows the arms of the Rossignol family, lords of the village in the 18th century.
