Origin/meaning

The arms are based on those of Tustna inslightly different colours and were granted on December 21, 2005.

Before Aure use dthe arms shown below, which were granted on March 22, 1991.

The arms show two sea eagle heads, as there is a rather large population of these birds in the municipality.
