Parti: au 1er mi-parti d'azur à deux bars adossés d'or accompagnés de quatre croisettes recroisetées au pied fiché du même, au 2e mi-parti d'or à l'aigle bicéphale de sable, becquée et membrée de gueules; au marteau de mineur renversé de gueules brochant sur la partition.

Origin/meaning

The arms combine the arms of the Duchy of Bar (fish) and the German Empire (eagle), as the village historically belonged to both. The tool is a kind of mine hammer and refers to the (former) mining in the area.
