In Rot schräg gekreuzt ein silberner Bischofsstab und ein gestürztes silbernes Flammenschwert, bewinkelt oben von einer goldenen Hopfendolde, rechts von einer silbernen Sichel, links von einem silbernen romanischen Weihekreuz.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 25, 1986.

The crosier refers to St. Nicholas, the parton saint of the church in Attenhofen. The flaming sword is the symbol for St. Michael, the patron saint of the church in Walkertshofen. The sickle refers to the former Notburga-chapel in Thonhausen. The crossed ring can be seen in the St. geoarge's church in Pötzmes.

The hops flower refer to the importance of hops cultivation in the region.
