Origin/meaning

The arms are a combination of the arms of France (fleur-de-lis) and the symbol for Jezus Christ, as a piece of the shirt is one of the most important relics in the local church since it was obtained during the crusades.

Literature : Gassowski, A : Armorial des communes du Val-d'Oise. Poster published by Gaso Mériel, 1995.
