ARGENÇOLA
Region : Catalonia
Province : Barcelona
Official blazon
Escut caironat: de gules, 3 pinyes d'or. Per timbre una corona de marquès.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 17, 1997.
Three golden pine-cones on gules are the traditional arms of Argençola family, the landlords of the village. In 1702, Jeroni Rocabertí i Argençola became marquis of Argençola (this is the reason of the marquis crown at the top of the arms).
