In Gold, durch einen schrägrechten blauen Wellenbalken geteilt, vorn drei schwarze Getreidehalme, hinten ein rotes durchgehendes Kreuz.

Origin/meaning

The wavy bend is a canting symbol for the -bach (brook, stream) part of the name. The cross is the arms of the Archdiocese of Trier, to which the village historically belonged. The wheat ears indicate the agricultural character of the village.
