The first quarter shows the arms of Cardinal de Brogny, who originated from the village. The second quarter shows the arms of Annecy. The bell in the third quarter refers to the Paccard foundry, whose bells are famous throughout the world. The grapes refer to the importance of viticulture in the area since Roman times.
