Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on August 14, 2009.

The cross refers to Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, associated with the Andrzejewska region. The monogram means Andreas Cricius, or Andrzej Krzycki, who founded Andrzejewo in 1534. The monogram in the form adopted in the coat of arms was visible on the oldest seals of Andrzejewo, which had municipal rights from 1528-1870.
