Escudo de prata, duas bandarilhas de negro, guarnecidas de verde e vermelho, circundadas por duas espigas de trigo de verde, com os pés passados em aspa em ponta; em chefe, pano de muralha ameiado de vermelho, realçado de negro e firmado nos flancos. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: " AMIEIRA – PORTEL ".

The arms were officially granted on November 15, 2002.
