I rött fält en uppskjutande abbotstav, åtföljd på dexter sida av en uppåtgående måne och på sinister sida av en sexuddig stjärna, alla av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1951.
The arms are based on the seal of the abbot of Alvastra monastery from the 14th century.
