1ST ENGINEER BRIGADE, US ARMY
History: The Brigade raised in 1942 as 1st Engineer Amphibian Brigade. Deactivated in 1946 and reactivated in 1986. During World War II the Brigade served in Operation Torch (the Landing in North Africa), the Normandy Landings and in 1945 the Okinawa Landings. Since reactivation in 1986 it serve the US Army Engineer School.
