Arms of Śmigiel

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on February 27, 2003.

The oldest known use of the arms dates from a paper seal dating from 1596. The seal already showed the above combination of a tower flanked by two branches. The exact type of the branches was not very clear until the early 18th century, when they were clearly shown as acorn branches. The arms have remained unchanged since.
