ČUMIĆ (Чумић)

Municipality: Aerodrom
District: Šumadija

Cumic.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were adopted in 1998.

The wounded boar's head stands for the Sumadija (Woodlands) Region, the scroll and quill for the historical scriptorium, and the cross with sword and key are the symbols for the patron saints of the local church dedicated, St. Peter and St. Paul. The plums in border symbolise the numerous plum orchards in the area.
