Arms of Ølgod

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1965.

The arms show a ring with three clover leaves. These refer to the first co-operative dairy in Denmark, which opened in Hjeding in the municipality. The ring refers to a 'butter-ring', the leaves and the green colour to the rich fields.
