  • (sv) I blått fält en medelst vågskura bildad balk åtföljd av tvenne stolpvis ställda kärvar; allt av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 8, 1968.

The arms show a silver bend for the Närpes river, along which most of the village is situated. The stylised garbs refer to the agricultural character of the municipality.
