Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 2011.

The arms combine elemelnts from two families that played a major role in the local history. The cross moline is taken from the arms of the Damas (d'Anzley) family, who acquired the village in 1738. The scallop and star are taken from the arms of the Villenaut family, who resided on the Colombier castle in the municipality.
