Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on September 28, 2021.

The division line symbolises the initial letter M. The upper part shows a shuttle for the textile industry and two grape vines, one red, one white, for viticulture and the two villages Condrieu and St. Joseph.

The tower in the lower half symbolises the different castles in the municipality. The wavy pale is the Saut de Laurette waterfall in the minucipality. The heraldic dolphin is taken from the Forez region in which the area is situated.
